Job Title: Senior Tax Manager - Full-Time

This is an on-site position.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax department and ensure compliance with all tax regulations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, as well as leadership skills to mentor a team of tax professionals. This is a key leadership role that will contribute directly to the financial success and strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and tax advisors.
  • Provide expert tax advice and support on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively assess their impact on the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent (e.g., JD, LLM in Taxation).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, including corporate and international tax.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax issues and deliver practical solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
