Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

SUMMARY: Inspect, troubleshoot, service, repair, modify and replace Fire Sprinkler systems for new and existing customers on a scheduled basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Servicing Fire Sprinkler Systems to the prescribed standards.
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of our customer's Fire Sprinkler Systems.
- Identifying code and non-conformance issues as well as knowledge and understand of NFPA codes for inspection, testing and installation.
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
- Duties may also include installation of new Fire Sprinkler Systems, including but not limited to, measuring, drilling, gluing, pipe, valves, fittings, risers & sprinkler heads.
- Interface with customers & homeowners to provide excellent and professional service while in the field.
- Maintains all standard operating procedures and quality control measures of the company.
- Complies with all applicable safety policies and codes.
- Maintains tools, equipment, shop, and work areas in the best possible condition for maximum production and safety.
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.
- Knowledge of NFPA Code and fire sprinkler principles (preferred).
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics and blueprints.

- Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- Ownership of vehicle and ‘Tools of the Trade’ required.
