Job Title: Cook I
Reports To: Sous Chef / Banquet Chef / Restaurant Chef
Position Description: Food preparation and production for restaurants and related conference/banquet facilities.
Benefits: The position is full-time, with a rate between $23 - $28 per hour depending on experience. We offer an excellent benefits package which includes: occasional overtime, paid time off, holiday pay, employer meal provided, referral bonus, 401k with employer match after eligibility, health, dental and company paid life insurance.

- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
- Maintains confidentiality of all data
- Meets department productivity standards
- Training in a culinary arts school or apprenticeship with professional chefs, 3-5 plus years of relevant professional cooking experience
- In-depth professional knowledge and skills in food preparation, cooking and presentation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide superior service to our guests at all times
- Produce all necessary food for operation as determined by culinary management team
- Ensure ordering for food station is adequate and inform Kitchen Manager immediately of product shortages
- Maintain the highest of quality in all aspects, from freshness of product, to product presentation
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and designated station
- Prepare a wide variety of dishes
- Comply with established internal and local health and safety procedures and codes
- The proper use, operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment
- The proper use of all production lists and control systems/activities
- Adhere to all standards and policies established by management team
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Kitchen Manager
- Uses our Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products
