CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Youngstown, Ohio

 

Position Overview
LM Cases is seeking an experienced manufacturing worker to join our team who enjoys thinking outside the box in an intimate, family owned, team environment.

Education/Experience

  • High School or GED minimum
  • Technical Training, College, College Degree a plus
  • One year CNC experience or degree/certificate CNC machinist


Position Qualifications*

  • Dedication to attendance, timeliness and professionalism for this mission critical position.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of coworkers.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
  • Ability to program, operate and maintain CNC machines with working knowledge of CAD/CAM environments.
  • Experience with wood working CNC machines a plus.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools/tape measure.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude including reading prints, drawings, computers and network environments.
  • Experience with wood working machines – saw, routers, lathe, etc., spray equipment a plus.
  • Experience with aluminum and plastic fabrication machines, saws, techniques a plus.
  • Experience in woodworking, cabinet building, carpentry a plus.
  • Desire to receive cross department training and willingness to be reassigned to other departments.
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Attentive to detail and assumes responsibility for identifying and resolving issues.
  • Able to plan work, approach assignments in an orderly manner and work with minimal supervision.

*Lack of experience in some categories will not necessarily disqualify candidates that are willing to receive training. We will train all candidates with a basic skill set.
