Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our meat products while providing exceptional service to our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
• Ensure all meat products are fresh, properly packaged, and displayed attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area and kitchen.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
• Assist customers with their meat selections, providing recommendations and answering questions.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs for restocking.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the food department.

Skills

• Proven experience in meat cutting or food preparation within the food industry or restaurant setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Proficiency in using knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
