Job Title: Professional Intern - Developer

We are seeking a Professional Intern to join our team who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience. Qualifications:

  • Background: have background in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) OR hands on work experience as a developer.

  • Willingness to learn: a positive attitude towards acquiring new skills and contributing to teams efforts and goals.

  • Collaboration skills: works well in a team environment, contributes/is open to new ideas and feedback.

  • Foundational: strong problem-solving skills and a passion for software development.

  • Initiative: A proactive approach to taking on unfamiliar tasks and helping others when needed.

  • Mindset: Innovative mindset and a desire to contribute to creative solutions.


Desired Proficiencies:

  • Basic understanding of C#, .Net, .Net Framework and/or .Net Core

  • HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

  • Experience using a code repository, such as Git.

  • Some familiarity with front-end technologies like React, Vue or Blazor WebAssembly


Bonus Point Proficiencies:

  • Connecting to Microsoft SQL Server or SQLite

  • Ability to write simple queries.

  • Consuming API/WebAPI

  • Experience with Bootstrap or Tailwind

  • Understanding of MVC architecture

  • Microsoft Entity Framework Core

  • Blazor (WASM, Server, or Hybrid)

  • Familiarity or experience with cloud providers like Azure, AWS or GCP


Duration/Hours/Location/Compensation:

  • Internship duration is 90 days. Potential opportunity for full-time position at final review.

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • In-office position - Address: 325 Oser Ave, Hauppauge, NY 11788

  • $20.00/hour


Our Interview Process:

  1. Initial phone interview (10 minutes)

  2. Coding challenge (1-3 hours)

  3. Post-challenge technical review (45 minutes)
