Position Details:

Client: Medical Device Job Title: Sr. IQA InspectorDuration: 12 months (Potential to extend)Location & Schedule: Menlo Park, CA 94025 (Onsite)Timing: 5 AM to 1.30 PM OR 2 PM to 10.30 PM (2nd Shift)Pay Rate: $25/hr to $30/hr without benefits and PTO.Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming commodities and sub-assemblies for conformance to applicable drawings and specifications.
• Examine a variety of components, including mechanical, chemical, printed material, and potential bio-hazard parts.
• Utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform precision measurements.
• Interpret and analyze Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) drawings to assess part compliance.
• Document and report inspection findings, noting any discrepancies or defects.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Strong ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures for diverse components, including mechanical, chemical, and bio-hazard materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
