We are seeking a Contract SPEECH-LANGUAGE Pathologist to join our team You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. 

This position is at a State Facility in Terrell Texas - Needed ASAP

Shifts - 8a to 5p / Mon, Wed, and Fri (Actual days are flexible)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders
  • Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Performs periodic re-evaluation of the patient as necessary and makes adjustments in the patient’s treatment plan as needed in accordance with physician goals and orders.
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
  • Update patient progress to relevant parties
  • Research related speech and language problems

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice Speech Language Pathology with the State of Texas through TDLR.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and patient demeanor
