Cook Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cook to oversee meal preparation for large groups and manage the day-to-day operations of the galley. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality food service while maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Cook Responsibilities

  • Prepare three nutritious and satisfying meals daily while adhering to budget guidelines.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with sanitary food handling practices.
  • Properly manage and dispose of kitchen waste in accordance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock effectively.
Cook Position Requirements
  • A current and comprehensive resume.
  • Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
  • Valid USCG Medical Certificate.
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Valid passport.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
