We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CNC Manager to join our dynamic production team for a plastics and thermoforming fabrication company. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency and precision of our CNC operations. As a CNC Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of CNC machining processes, ensuring that we meet our production goals while maintaining high standards of quality. You will lead a team of skilled machinists and operators, providing training and guidance to enhance their capabilities. Your technical expertise will be important in troubleshooting issues and optimizing machine performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to refine production methods and resolve any concerns related to CNC operations.
To be considered for this position, the applicant must have solid MasterCAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CNC operations and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Manage, train, and evaluate CNC machinists and operators for optimal performance.
• Develop, implement, and improve CNC machining processes and procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support product design and development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience with MasterCAM programming
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tools, and materials.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings and CAD/CAM software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot various CNC machines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
