Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Entry-level Cook to join our company You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our kitchen. We do not have a full-service kitchen so the food preparation is fairly easy.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all served food
  • Follow standard recipes and special orders
  • Read tickets to produce orders.
  • Prepare, cook and plate all served food
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
  • Ability to keep the line and prep area organized, stocked and clean
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances and dishes when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields helpful but not necessary. We will train the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques, (no fryer or grill cooking necessary)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be organized and able to demonstrate critical thinking skills
