We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Stafford, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual machining, with the ability to operate lathes, mills, and other machinery to create high-precision components.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other manual machining equipment.

·         Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

·         Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.

·         Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lubrication and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

·         Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

·         Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure that machining processes meet project specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. without help.

·         Proven experience as a manual machinist, with a strong understanding of machining principles. +2 years of experience minimum.

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

·         Proficiency with measuring tools and quality control processes.

·         Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

·         Experience in operating laser machines, press brakes and radial drill presses.
