We're looking for a skilled Mid-Level Acquisition Analyst to join our dynamic team, helping focus our customers on vital contract administration elements and performance monitoring. Salary range for this role is $120,000 - $131,500.
Primary Functions: The Mid-Level Acquisition Analyst will provide critical support to the Washington Navy Yard, focusing on contractual requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of US Navy Operations, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARs), and Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways.Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Military Experience: Experience with the U.S. Navy preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in acquisition analysis, preferably US Navy.
Extensive experience with highly complex, high-dollar contracts.
Proficiency in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs).
Proficiency in Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs)
Familiarity with Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Preferred; but not required).
General Experience: A minimum of five years of increasing responsibility and managerial experience on complex acquisition analysis and contract systems. Experience in the development and implementation of acquisition strategies, the analysis of contract requirements/regulations, and management of contract systems. Proven history of successfully navigating the complexities of contracts, showcasing an ability to lead, problem-solve, and delivering high quality results.
Functional Responsibility: Communicates well with individuals or groups. Performs assigned acquisition analysis, strategy, development and integration activities using accepted analysis practices and techniques. Ensures compliance with technical standards throughout the project.
Specialized Experience: Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARs), and Department of Defense (DOD) Acquisition Pathways. Experience with large dollar value and highly complex contracts. Experience with multiple contract types: MAC IDIQ, SA IDIQ, Definitive, OTA/IDV’s (Cost and Fixed Price Vehicles), requisite knowledge of funding types to include but not limited to: OMN, OPN, SCN, and RDTE.
Contacts: Work in team environment with Government, military personnel and their support contractors at the executive, manager, and technical levels.
Complexity: Medium. Manipulation of data gathered as well as provided can be complex due to the volume of information that may be concurrently received and require analysis and processing.
Supervision Given: This is a non-supervisory position. This position requires the ability to work with little or no direct supervision and requires coordination of efforts with senior government and military leaders. Must seek amplifying information and anticipate customer requirements based on individual work items maturing at different times and stages.

Duties: The duties of an acquisition analyst include::
Prepare/Develop Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) for Sole Source actions (except PSS contract vehicles).
Develop PRs in the contract writing system, Standard Procurement System (SPS), and route to SEA022, SEA024 Divisions.
Develop COR spreadsheets for funding/admin modifications.
Assist CORs/Contract Division with development, review, and routing of DD1423 DCRLs. Track CDRL approvals/disapprovals.
Develop and maintain Contract Status Reports (CSRs) for contract vehicles, assist CORs with CLIN/SLIN data, modification details such as: ceiling evaluation, de-obligations, incremental funding realignments and PoP extension requests.
Assist CORs with Technical Instructions (Tis), development of TI trackers.
Required access to COBRA and EDA (within PIEE suite) to pull executed modifications for DoDAACs.
Assist APMs/CORs with out of cycle/emergent contract actions and work with 312 PAPM and associated SEA02 Divisions to support stop-work efforts, etc.
Participate in routine meetings with CORs/PCOs, take meeting minutes.
Assist in the development of new Sole Source procurements (except for PSS efforts), Post-award assistance for Competitive, Pre-award assistance for Sole Source (Justification and Approvals, Acquisition Plans/Strategies).
OTHER:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship will be required due to access/handling of Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information.
Work Location: Primary worksite at Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC
Work includes use of Navy-provided computing hardware (NMCI) and credentials.
