The big dog-walking on-demand platforms don't screen their clients and dogs To ensure our dog walker's safety going into people's homes and walking their dogs the first step in becoming a client with DogZenergy is to do a meet and greet with our owner. We typically offer 3-5 hours daily depending on demand (M - F and some weekends) with a consistent route with dogs you can form a relationship with.
We are seeking someone very professional for a part-time position, who has experience working with dogs, can walk/handle at least 3 at a time, is available at least 10 - 15 hours per week, and has an exceptional work ethic. Must be willing to walk up to 3 - 5 hours per day, must have a smartphone (iPhone/Android), a reliable car, willing to undergo a detailed background and reference check, have a clean record and no driving accidents in the last three years, and have really good dog sense.
We are looking for someone who can be committed to our team every week, long-term. Hours vary between 7:00 am- 6:00 pm M-F and we need someone who can sometimes work weekends as well. The starting rate is $16.85/hour + tips through the app, along with mileage reimbursement.
To apply, you must:
- be able to handle/walk at least 3 dogs
- be willing to drive to La Jolla/PB or Clairemont/Bay Ho
- available to work some weekends
- pass a background check
- have a car that can safely transport dogs
- be available at least 10 -15 hours per week
- be looking for long-term part-time employment (this is not a seasonal or temporary position)
