Loader Parts Source (LPS) is a growing company serving the skid loader repair industry. We were founded in 2008 and have since expanded into 3 buildings, all located in Elkhart, IN. We utilize EOS as our operating system and are driven to create leaders, not just at LPS, but in all aspects of life.

Job Summary:

The Research Analyst does various activities including finding new parts as well as answering questions from various departments about new or existing products.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor.

Accountabilities:

• Find new parts/interchanges
• Maintain interchanges
• Answer interchange questions
• Research
• Data Entry

Tasks:

• Properly record research data found
• Research OEM manuals
• Research vendor/OEM catalogs
• Research online
• In depth interchange research
• Communicate with other departments
• Update listings
• Data Entry
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Skills:

• Understands Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Analyze, evaluate and interpret research results to provide to other departments
• Ability to work efficiently with staff on all levels
• Proficiently using the web as a resource for finding information
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills and grammar
• Ability to search online
• Ability to adapt to change
• Organized
• Mechanical knowledge is helpful but not required
