Dental Hygenist

Dlight Dental PLLC is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Washington, DC.

About the job:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for ensuring our patients’ dental experiences are pain-free and safety-conscious. You will work with other healthcare professionals, like periodontist, endodontist, and general dentists, to provide patients with comprehensive dental care.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess patients’ oral health needs
• Observe patients’ behavior while performing dental procedures
• Teach patients’ oral health maintenance techniques
• Provide safe and professional treatment according to dental guidelines
• Cultivate a a positive work environment
• Monitor patient health & well-being & report on any unusual symptoms
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and security standards
• Maintain professional image and remember patient’s medical history

Experience:

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable with a commitment to perfection.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
