Job Description:

We are seeking a Utility Steward to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. Responsibilities will include completing special cleaning projects as assigned while following hotel specifications and standards. Includes cleaning and maintaining equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor/storage areas, while assisting in other stewarding functions as assigned.

This position is a PM position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English.
  • Ability to count.

Desirable:

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
  • Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning position.
  • Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations.
  • Certification in sanitation.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
  • Ability to communicate in a foreign language – Creole or Spanish.

  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.
  • Ability to operate designated machinery.
  • Ability to remain extremely alert while operating machinery.

  • Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture, and noise levels in work areas.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements in cleaning various work areas.
