Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Barista to join our team The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages, as well as providing exceptional customer service to all patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences
- Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain high standards of quality in each drink
- Handle food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including equipment, utensils, and service areas
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance the cash register
- Educate customers on different coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu items
- Restock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment for both team members and guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of coffee beverages and brewing techniques is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
