Talento Search Group has an opening for a Tool & Die Maker in Williamston, South Carolina.  This is a direct-hire,with a starting pay rate of $28 - $35 per hour, depending on experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Studies specifications / drawings and data to resolve tooling issues
• Inspect parts and assemblies for dimensional , material characteristics for quality
• Setup and operation of machine tools (lathes, grinders) to machine parts
• Verifies dimensions, alignments and clearances
• Product design drawings for specialty tools
• Fits / assembles parts for tools and dies
• Use of American SAE and Metric measurement standards

Experience Needed:

• Minimum 3 years proven current/recent experience with progressive dies
• Accredited Journeyman's tool maker certificate preferred
• Experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical information
• Strong experience with lathes and milling machinery
• Experience with design techniques including tooling, technical plans, models, drawings, and blueprints
• Experience with design, use, and repair of machines and tools
• Experience replacing parts, wiring circuits, repairing electronic equipment, and testing instruments
