**License:** NDMRIT Licensure (North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board) Required

**Certifications:**
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - must be AHA certified

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with portables and ER
- OR experience with C-arm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Fluoroscopy experience, ideally comfortable with Siemens fluoroscopy rooms

**Job Description:**

- Ensure accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures; conduct image operations according to provider requests and other technical factors.
- Implement radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process.
- Deliver excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Understanding and navigation of the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including working in ER, PICU, NICU, and Endoscopy.
- Conduct general X-ray and portable X-rays, including procedures like Panorex, fluoroscopy swallow studies, cystograms, VCUGs, urethrograms, arthrograms, lumbar punctures, myelograms, OR neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, pediatrics.
- Work with equipment such as GE 656 General Rooms, GE OEC C-arms, GE OEC Mini C-arms, Siemens Luminos Agile Fluoro Room, Siemens Artis Zee Fluoro Room, Siemens Mira Portables, Medtronic O-arm, Hologic Fluoroscan Mini C-arm, Midmark Panorex.
- Participate in a structured training and orientation program, reviewing all equipment with a preceptor and demonstrating competency before use.
- Adhere to the hospital's dress code; scrubs are provided.
- Shift includes 8 nights on 6 days off from Wednesday to Wednesday, with variations like 8, 10, 10, and 12-hour schedules or a 7 on 7 off rotation. Regular weekend assignments as part of department rotation; limited call on work weekends, no call during the week.

**Comments:** Ensure licensing process involves sending all paperwork and fingerprints to the NDMIRT Board licensing office to avoid delays.
