Accounts Payable Specialist

We're looking for an AP Specialist who excels in SAP, process improvement, and financial control, bringing a proactive mindset to tackle complex issues and drive operational excellence.

What You Bring

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field (Accounting preferred), OR 5+ years of Accounts Payable and expense management experience.

Top Skills:

  • SAP Experience: 2+ years working in SAP with a strong grasp of P2P processes, Vendor Master, and financial control concepts.
  • Process Improvement: 2+ years experience in identifying and implementing improvements.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Teams.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail Orientation: Keen eye for detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Hands-on experience with Concur or global travel and expense systems.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with a knack for building positive, productive relationships across teams.
  • A proactive team player who thrives under pressure, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Resolution, Credit Card & Expense Management:

  • Research, analyze, and resolve payment exceptions, supporting a smooth payment process.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation tasks.
  • Serve as a primary troubleshooting resource for payment and expense-related issues.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Perform monthly SOAR Reporting across the AP team.
  • Track metrics and provide analytical support for data-driven decisions.

Inquiry Management:

  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal partners, ensuring a seamless and positive AP experience.

Support AP Leadership:

  • Take on special projects or additional duties as assigned by the AP leadership team.
