**Certifications:**
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (American Heart Association)

**Must-Have:**
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

**Job Description:**

- Provide nursing care under general supervision to a diverse patient population with varying health complexities in a hospital setting.
- Assume responsibility for a designated group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, and note any changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians in patient examinations and perform minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor patients' physiological data; observe physiological manifestations and intervene as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care.
- Interact with patients and their families to discuss care plans during hospitalization and upon discharge.
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures.
- Make care-related referrals to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- Maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
