Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Testing and Calibration: Modifying, testing, and calibrating equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively.
  • Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and any modifications made.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work follows safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration: Working with engineers and other professionals to improve system designs and operational efficiency.

Preventive Maintenance
  • Scheduled Inspections: Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Routine Servicing: Performing routine tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintenance Schedules: Developing and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment is serviced at appropriate intervals.
  • Record Keeping: Documenting all preventive maintenance activities, including dates, tasks performed, and any observations.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging, are used to anticipate and prevent equipment failures.
