Seeking a talented Tax Professional for a Top-Notch Local CPA Firm to lead one of the offices in St Joseph, MO. This individual will operate almost autonomously, overseeing all aspects of the office and managing a team of 9 staff members.



Position: Tax Manager


Location: St Joseph, MO (primarily onsite) 


Compensation: Above market standard $110k-$140k DOE


Software: CCH ProSystems FX 



Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and supervise all office operations.
  • Focus primarily on reviewing complex tax returns; no preparation required.
  • Manage approximately 1,300 individual and business tax returns annually, along with monthly accounting tasks.
  • Utilize software such as CCH ProSystems FX (experience preferred but not required) and QuickBooks

What you need:



  • 5 years of Recent experience in Public Accounting.
  • Proven experience in tax management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with complex tax returns and accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in CCH ProSystems FX and QuickBooks is advantageous.
