The Travel RN Acute Care Transplant / Thoracic Nights position involves providing specialized nursing care for solid organ transplant patients in a leading academic medical center. The role includes direct patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of care. Candidates must have a valid CO RN license, one year of experience, and certification in BLS prior to starting.

Department: Highly specialized in the care of all solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas, heart/lung), thoracic surgery, and hepatology. We're pioneers in liver transplantation. We have extensive experience with living donor liver transplants and are the only academic medical center with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit in the Rocky Mountain region.
FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $55.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend
13 week assignments available - extension options
Minimum Requirements:
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges
- 1-year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

- Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity
- AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence based care models for each unit
- Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation
