Overview World Class Beaches Emerald Coast in the Florida Panhandle- Pensacola Beach Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice at The Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, in Pensacola, Florida. * Providing high-quality, compassionate health care to children in Northwest Florida * Enjoy practicing in a busy, Level-IIIB NICU (no ECMO or complex heart surgery) * Average daily census of 57 (Level-III is 72 beds, Level-II is 39 beds) and full subspecialty support * Variety of 8, 10 or 24 hour shifts * We enjoy relationships with Florida State University's College of Medicine and Navy/Air Force Family Practice programs About the hospital: * Ascension Sacred Heart is part of Florida's statewide Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center Network * The Studer Family Children's Hospital is a 126-bed facility and the only Children's Hospital in Northwest Florida * Over 120 pediatric sub-specialists Pensacola Fast Facts: * Home to some of the nation's most beautiful beaches, with white sand and crystal-clear waters, including Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key * The city's downtown area is rich in history and charm, with several well-preserved historic buildings, quaint shops and delicious local restaurants * In addition to beaches, Pensacola has several state parks and nature preserves and offers various outdoor activities year-round, such as kayaking, boating, fishing, golfing, hiking and camping * Home to many military bases, including the Naval Air Station Pensacola, the primary training base for Navy and Marine aviators including the world-famous Blue Angels * Cost of living is far lower than other major Florida cities * The host of numerous cultural events, such as the Pensacola Seafood Festival, Pensacola Jazz Festival and Pensacola Interstate Fair * Several highly ranked schools, including the University of West Florida, Pensacola State College, Cordova Park Elementary, West Florida High School of Advanced Technology and A.K.
