Die Maker/Die Repair
Details:

  • Direct Hire – Macomb County
  • 2 nd Shift (Train on 1 st )
  • 5% Shift Premium
Duties:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
  • Measuring and marking tool steel for machining
  • Set up and operate all Tool Room equipment – mills, lathes, grinders, (EDM nice to have)
  • Cutting and shaping blocks to print
  • Perform benching functions to ensure smooth finish
  • Fitting and Die assembly
  • Design basic jigs and fixtures for work holding
  • Inspect finished die for conformity
  • Conduct test run (tryout) with completed dies and tools.
