DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Leads broad management and program initiatives and conducts comprehensive management and programmatic analyses related to the development and implementation of tools and mechanisms for activities related to technical assistance and correspondence activities, to include but not limited to training, priority correspondence, FOIA, scheduling and supporting remote educational and informational meetings for claimants and stakeholders.Manages the staff assessing stakeholder feedback and questions to determine when issues raised require or benefit from direct assistance and facilitates direct resolution or clarification of basic questions for claimants or stakeholders, without interfering in the adjudication process. Utilizes qualitative and quantitative metrics from those interactions to oversee the development of program improvement recommendations and reporting.Establishes and maintains liaison with appropriate representatives of the Department of Energy, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Justice, atomic weapon employers and beryllium vendors, and other appropriate stakeholders who work with or have worked at covered facilities.Directs development of a variety of technical assistance materials for employers, external organizations, employees and their representatives, and others, to educate and inform potential covered employees of the benefits available under the DEEOIC Program.Directs technical assistance activities at the national level and provides technical guidance and oversight for District Office technical assistance activities. Provides technical assistance and consultant services on DEEOIC Program matters to the senior leaders at the Departments of Energy, Health and Human Services and Justice, labor organizations, Congressional offices, employees and their representatives, and others. Technical assistance is provided in meetings, briefings, clinics/workshops, seminars, consultations, web/print education/training material and by correspondence. Establishes and maintains good public relations with parties requiring technical assistance.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be at least 16 years old.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.Subject to financial disclosure requirements.Requires a supervisory probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
