The AWS customer-facing security services team is looking for passionate and innovative engineers to join to help build our next generation of AWS security service platforms. Our team builds security products that help ensure customers use AWS services in the most secure environment possible. This position involves working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment that provide customers a single workflow to measure and assess workload security threats, risks and compliance posture across multiple cloud environments. Our ideal candidate is someone who has deep experience building security products with exposure to multiple public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. A successful candidate in this role is not only passionate about building functioning software but also about ensuring that the same software achieves its goals in operational reality. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience in cyber-security domain, especially in design of architecting digital Identity solutions using IAM related protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Experience developing and deploying complex software services in multiple cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience programming with at least one modern software programming language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
