Overview:
Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Location: Kingwood, TX
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: Salaried, commensurate with experience

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center Occupational Therapists with fieldwork in hands and splinting are preferred, however, we have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to become CHTs. So, new grads are encouraged to apply as well.

Responsibilities:
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy
CPR certified
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
