Job Description

We are looking for full-time Production Associates to join our expanding team in Delaware. Due to our increased success over the last couple of years, we are expanding our production, specifically in our Wall Panel division, and need to increase our headcount to fulfill customer orders. This is an exciting time as we plan to add a second shift next year, creating up to 100 new production positions. We are seeking candidates with previous construction or production experience, or those with solid mechanical aptitude and hand/power tool experience. We are willing to train and teach our processes. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all candidates to follow proper safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally bend, squat, and/or stoop.
  • Use manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
  • Frequently work near or around moving mechanical parts.
  • Work in a high noise level environment.
  • Exposed to airborne particles.
  • Construct wood-framed wall panels.
  • Assemble Open-Web Trusses.
  • Setup and operate machinery, such as a punch press, pinner, gluer, and/or drill.
  • Setup and use various tools, such as circular saws, nail guns, and staple guns.
  • Assemble various construction accessories for comprehensive framing packages.
  • Read product design paperwork and plans.
  • Input information into computers to track material and work orders.
Essential Skills
  • Comfortable working with a tape measure often throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Mechanical aptitude with comprehension and experience in solving/fixing/repairing mechanical equipment/machinery/vehicles/aircrafts/housing-residential.
  • Proven ability/experience using hand and power tools (e.g., Car Mechanic, Machine Builder, Maintenance Repair, Construction, Assembly).

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
