Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Formulations Technician to join our team in Hayward. Our facility focuses on manufacturing products that assist in wound closure after surgeries, such as FLOSEAL and COSEAL. This role involves working in a cleanroom environment with a packaging line, requiring full gowning.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment performing packaging tasks.
• Operate machinery for pouching products, ensuring smooth operations.
• Rotate stations every 2 hours to manage repetitive tasks and perform stretches between rotations.
• Fill various syringe sizes with gel (5MM and 10MM syringes).
• Lift items occasionally, up to 25 lbs., but typically less than 10% of the day.
• Adhere strictly to SOPs and maintain high standards in a regulated environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a cleanroom wearing a bunny suit for at least 6 months.
• Strong tenure at previous jobs.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks such as standing, lifting 5-20 lbs., and pushing carts.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to follow strict rules and SOPs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cleanroom experience.
• Experience working in a HAZMAT suit.
• Experience in a medical device or regulated environment (e.g., lab, hospital, manufacturing, food).
• High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cleanroom with full gowning required. This includes covering the face, legs, pants, head, hair, shoes, and upper body, and wearing gloves. No makeup, jewelry, fake nails, or fake eyelashes are allowed in the cleanroom. The shift is Monday to Friday from 4am to 12:30pm. The environment is loud due to machinery, and the job requires physical activity, although heavy lifting is rare.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
