ProCare Therapy is excited to announce openings for two full-time, contract Special Education Teacher positions with a school district in Hyde Park, MA, for the 2024-2025 school year. These roles come with the potential for permanent placement. We are looking to fill these positions quickly, with interviews available via Zoom. Qualifications:

  • Valid Educator License/Certificate in Massachusetts

Position Details:

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Total Hours: 40 hours per week
  • School Hours: 7:45 AM - 3:25 PM (30-minute duty-free lunch)

Available Positions:

  1. Resource Teacher

    • Grade Level: Primarily 2nd grade
    • Caseload: Approximately 8-10 students
    • Focus Areas: Academic needs, behavioral challenges, and developmental delays

  2. Self-Contained Teacher

    • Grade Levels: Primarily K-2
    • Caseload: Approximately 8-10 students
    • Focus Areas: Autism, developmental delays, communication, behavioral needs, functional skills, academic support, and independent living skills, including toileting

Responsibilities for Both Positions:

  • Provide instruction and manage casework
  • Assess and update student progress quarterly
  • Coordinate and participate in IEP meetings
  • Complete other related duties as necessary

Contract Information:

  • Length: Through December, with potential extension until the end of the school year
