Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a highly organized and responsible Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Wadsworth, Ohio. The selected candidate will be expected to handle our company's accounts payable and receivables, perform payroll responsibilities for a small team, and generate timely financial reports. The role represents a contract to permanent employment opportunity, with potential for permanent placement based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivables effectively and efficiently.
• Conduct bi-monthly payroll for a team of 7 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Use QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks, maintaining proficiency and efficiency.
• Prepare, maintain, and review financial reports routinely.
• Record and organize journal entries as needed.
• Maintain an up-to-date general ledger and carry out month-end tasks diligently.
• Utilize various accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping duties.
•Manage wider accounting functions, including annual budget preparation and cash flow analysis.
• Dress appropriately, adhering to the company's business casual code and observing the 'jeans on Friday' policy.
• Adhere strictly to the working hours of 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should have excellent organization skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles is pivotal to succeed in this role. • Minimum of three years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services.
• Experience in working with Computerized Accounting Systems.
• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in preparing an Annual Budget.
• Ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
