Job Description

We are looking for three Shift Technicians for our Shelby Township location. The position involves ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers
  • Troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, and other water filtration equipment
  • General maintenance of the plant
  • Work directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, and Preventative Maintenance to resolve mechanical issues during shifts
  • Propose solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment to Mechanics and Management
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility
  • Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with defined processes
  • Maintain industrial control systems
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance/Repair experience, preferably in bottling or beverage maintenance roles
  • HMI/Troubleshooting experience
  • Electrical skills including the use of a multimeter and basic electrical troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Tool room experience
  • Plastic Injection experience
  • Food Industry experience

Work Environment

The work takes place in a 2-year-old building which is clean and has great lighting. The facility mainly consists of automated equipment on one side and a warehouse on the other.

This is a Contract position based out of Shelby Township, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00
