Job Posting: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) School-Based Role in Newbury, MA

We are currently hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time school-based position near Newbury, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and provide critical support to students with speech and language needs.

Position Overview:

  • Location:NearNewbury, MA
  • Caseload/Population: K-12 (Applicant's Preference)
  • Assignment Period: Full school year
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead SLP with implementing therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
  • Support students with munication disorders by reinforcing learned skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Accurately document student progress and maintain therapy records

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts SLPA certification required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and munication skills
  • Passionate about supporting children's munication development
