Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with occasional Saturdays)

Overview:
Are you a compassionate Medical Assistant with a strong commitment to patient care? Join our vibrant healthcare team and play an essential role in delivering high-quality services to our patients. We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who is skilled in both front and back-office tasks, and who is eager to work alongside a dedicated medical team to ensure smooth, efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Charting: Accurately document patient information, medical history, and visit details.
Insurance Verification: Confirm patient insurance coverage and address any related inquiries.
Appointment Scheduling & Phone Management: Professionally manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient communications.
Patient Rooming: Prepare patients for examinations and assist during medical procedures.
Vitals & Injections: Measure vital signs, administer injections, and perform venipuncture.
Urinalysis: Conduct basic urinalysis and interpret results.
Diagnostic Testing: Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) and Electrocardiograms (EKGs).

Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, General Medicine, or Internal Medicine is a plus.
Strong skills in both clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
Certification: Medical Assistant Certification.
BLS Certification: Basic Life Support.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Vaccination: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
