We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a PLC Programmer position based in Venice, Florida. In this role, you will have the chance to work in an innovative environment, where you will be implementing and maintaining HMI/SCADA applications, writing, testing, and deploying HMIs, PLC programs, and SQL programs, and assisting the project manager with the implementation of associated projects.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation and maintenance of HMI/SCADA applications.
• Creation and maintenance of SOP documentation.
• Development, testing, enhancement, and maintenance of SCADA software, hardware, and equipment.
• Gathering, reviewing, and formatting data for reports, data processing, and presentations.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Assisting with project administration and working with outside contractors and developers.
• Assisting the Project Manager with the implementation of associated projects to enhance and fortify the SCADA system and network.
• Writing, testing, and deploying HMIs, PLC programs, and SQL programs.
• Proficiency in PLC Programming is essential for this role.• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC is required.
• Familiarity with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in the use of Wonderware is highly desired.
• Knowledge of SQL Programming is necessary for this position.
• Ability to perform HMI Programming is a key requirement for this role.
