We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time position in Brevard, NC, for the 2024/2025 school year. This role starts at 15 hours per week and will increase to 30 hours per week in the new year. The position focuses on a K-8th grade population and is a fantastic opportunity for those eager to make a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support for K-8th grade students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support students' communication needs
- Monitor student progress and document sessions
- Participate in team meetings and IEPs when necessary
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLPA certification
- Experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
