About the Role:

VocoVision is seeking a certified Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to support students in Colorado. This virtual position offers flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation: Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation for virtual classrooms.
  • Student Support: Enhance communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, aiding their learning experience.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers, staff, and parents to meet students' needs.
  • Tech Utilization: Use VocoVision's platforms to deliver seamless interpretation services.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sessions and communicate with educational professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification in Colorado.
  • Experience: Previous educational experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with virtual platforms, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • EIPA score of 3.5 and above needed.
