Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in the detail oriented services industry, based in Washington, District of Columbia. As an Office Manager, your main duties will revolve around maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. You'll manage a variety of tasks such as coordinating schedules, planning events, overseeing travel arrangements, and handling administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the coordination of directors' schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee and execute the planning and booking of travel arrangements for senior leadership.
• Assist with the execution of monthly check-ins on the calendar.
• Assume responsibility for receiving and restocking office supplies, including snacks and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office by managing tasks such as running the dishwasher at the end of the day.
• Handle the creation and distribution of onboarding paperwork for new hires.
• Coordinate IT efforts to ensure optimal functionality and address any technical issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date office directory for easy reference.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute office events and functions to foster a positive work environment.• Proficiency in using software such as Concur and CRM.
• Experience with time management software, preferably About Time.
• Ability to handle and efficiently manage answering inbound calls.
• Strong administrative skills to manage office tasks effectively.
• Experience in providing back office support for smooth business operations.
• Basic office skills are mandatory for this role.
• Ability to perform basic tasks like dishwashing when necessary.
• Expertise in calendar management to organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
• Comfortable with different calendaring tools and techniques.
• Ability to maintain a detail oriented office calendar.
• Experience in managing a busy calendar and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Proficiency in scheduling appointments and managing different aspects of calendar management.
