Instructional Assistant

ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a dedicated and kind Instructional Assistant to join one of our trusted school districts situated in the vibrant northern community of Peabody, Massachusetts. As a Paraprofessional in this role, youll work closely with teachers to provide additional support and guidance for students with diverse learning and behavioralneeds in a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Job Description

• Full-time
• M-F
• 32.5 hours per week
• ASAP start - end of school year/6 month contract
• Ideal candidate will have a passion for working with kiddos with behavioral needs and be a safe space for all students struggling academically
• In-person position only

Job Requirements

• High school diploma
• Comfortable with toileting, feeding, and lifting if asked to do so
• Experience working with disabilities and behaviors is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other educational staff
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Reliable Transportation
• Pass a drug test and a background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
