Educational Psychologist

BlazerJobs is currently seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational team in Vail, CO. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) where the School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students' mental health, academic development, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students to evaluate their cognitive, emotional, and academic needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and strategies for students with academic or behavioral challenges.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
• Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for accommodations and services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students with special educational needs.
• Provide professional development and training to staff on mental health topics, behavioral interventions, and supporting students with diverse needs.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to track student progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Colorado School Psychologist certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, data interpretation, and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
