Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Manager in Fullerton, Ca
Industry: Food Industry
Type: Full-Time/ Direct Hire
Schedule: 1st Shift - 6AM- 4PM (50 Hour work week - Saturdays Are Expected)
Salary: $120,000 to $135,000 + 10% bonus
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years in the food industry as a Maintenance Mechanic.
  • 4+ years in a managerial position, leading a department of similar size.
  • Hands-on skills with PLC programming, mixers, fillers, pro sealers, electronic conveyors, gear boxes, and bin masters.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.
  • General knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance skills.
  • Familiarity with city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
  • Experience with budget management and capital projects.

As a Maintenance Manager you will:
  • Lead and manage the maintenance department, including front-line mechanics.
  • Oversee the interviewing and selection process for department staff.
  • Plan, organize, and administer plant capital projects.
  • Direct and administer preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor and ensure department personnel training.
  • Maintain equipment to meet adequate and good operating standards.
  • Supervise records related to facilities and maintenance upkeep.
  • Adapt to changing priorities with versatility and flexibility.
  • Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Perform physical labor necessary to repair, inspect, and maintain equipment.
  • Manage budget and capital projects.
