Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join the team at Intermountain Healths Saratoga Springs Emergency facility. In this contract position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures using independent judgment and initiative, all while ensuring patient safety and exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CT imaging and radiology, using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation for exams.
• Perform CT procedures following department protocols.
• Demonstrate proficiency in anatomical positioning and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Follow the ALARA program to minimize radiation exposure.
• Critique own films to ensure accuracy and quality.
• plete studies efficiently, maintaining high standards of care and examination quality.
• Administer contrast materials as prescribed by the physician, under supervision.
• Adhere to infection control and sterile techniques.
• Provide patient education and ensure patient fort during procedures.
• Operate CT equipment and related systems to produce high-quality images.
• Manage contrast injectors, laser printers, and properly handle electronic imaging.
• Accurately plete all required documentation and ensure proper image storage.
• Follow medical necessity protocols, coding, and equipment maintenance guidelines.

Certifications & Requirements:

• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in CT imaging, with solid knowledge of CT protocols and equipment.
• Radiation badge required.

pensation:

• petitive pay rate with a 5% reduction for the contract term.
