Job Description:
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a high-volume restaurant in Garden City, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in a casual dining environment and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading and developing the team, and ensuring a positive and engaging atmosphere for guests to enjoy food, drinks, and sports entertainment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock management to ensure optimal levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation.
  • Track and analyze financial metrics, including labor costs, food costs, and revenue, to meet profitability goals.
  • Support local marketing and promotional initiatives to increase guest traffic and drive sales.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, casual dining setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic financial reporting.
