Real Estate Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant with a strong background in real estate accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing fixed assets, and performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurately reported.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Provide support during audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules.
Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on real estate accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is an immediate need and is a temp-to-permanent position with hybrid flexibility. Pay is dependent on experience with a range of $36-$40/hour with a permanent salary range of $78,000-85,000.
Pay Details: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour
