The Buyer position plays an integral role in the success of the company by maintaining appropriate inventory levels to match market conditions. The ideal candidate will be an energetic & analytical individual with applicable experience and/or education. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Manager.


We are looking for a full-time Buyer with a minimum of 1 year of purchasing and negotiating experience and/or education. Experience in a corporate environment a plus. Excellent working conditions and motivating environment with bonus potential and other benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Must understand concepts of forecasting, demand planning and inventory management for distributors
  • Aggressively researches new items and makes recommendations to purchase
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills that deliver the best value for our customers
  • Actively manage vendors and follow up on outstanding issues
