Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Punta Gorda, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions
• Reconcile accounts and prepare reports
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage bookkeeping tasks
• Carry out data entry tasks and use Microsoft Excel for various operations
• Handle month-end close procedures
• Manage payroll operations
• Utilize QuickBooks and Drake Tax Software for various accounting procedures.• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable experience in Bookkeeping
• Capability to perform accurate Data Entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Experience with Drake Tax Software
