We are in need of a Financial Project Manager to join a team in the Portland, Maine area. This role is crucial in managing financial aspects of the projects. This position is for a long-term contract and requires the individual to be fully onsite.


Responsibilities:


• Managing all financial aspects of assigned projects

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial processes

• Overseeing the tracking and reporting of project financials

• Managing the process of Request for Proposals (RFPs)

• Overseeing Billing Functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing

• Managing Budget Processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Applying Project Management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Continuously monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Ability to manage Billing Functions

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Proven skills in Project Management

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
